A lightly sweetened honey infused lemonade that is perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot summer’s day.

Who doesn’t love lemonade on a scorching hot day? Who remembers drinking it during the summer as a child? This honey lemonade is a family favorite in this household from my husband to my kids. The honey gives it a nice refreshing sweet kick and the lemons have just a bit of sour for this to be a perfect combination. Sometimes we like to add this simple Lavender Honey Syrup to it to doctor it up a little more.

How many lemons do you use?
About 6 medium size lemons will create 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice. As a rule of thumb, one medium sized lemon produces 2 1/2-3 tablespoons of juice.
Best light honey to use
I have found the best light honey is white clover. This honey is lightly sweetened. It will still give your lemonade a light yellow color instead of a darker hue.
