Description
These Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls are cheesy, a little spicy and downright addictive. They are the appetizer that disappears minutes after hitting the table. Made with 5 simple ingredients, they are the easiest crowd pleasing snack you will ever make.

- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 10 oz can of Rotel, drained
- 1 1/2 cups gluten free bisquick mix
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the sausage, cream cheese, Rotel, gluten free bisquick mix and shredded cheese, until well combined.
- Use a 1.5 inch cookie scoop to scoop out the mixture, and gently roll into balls.
- Place the balls 2 inches apart on the parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, and use a thermometer to check that the largest one is 165 F internally.
Notes
- Drain the can of Rotel very well.
- Use room temp cream cheese so it incorporates.
- Mix by hand for best results.
- Make Ahead: Roll the balls and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
- Refrigerate: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
- Freezer: Place cooked sausage balls in a freezer safe bag or container for up to 3 months.
- Reheating: Reheat in the oven at 350 F for 8-10 minutes or microwave until warmed through.
