Description
If you love a creamy ranch dip but want to pack in more protein, this Cottage Cheese Ranch Dip is about to become your new favorite snack! Made with cottage cheese and a handful of simple ingredients, it's creamy, tangy, packed with ranch flavor and perfect for dipping veggies, crackers and chips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 container (16 oz) full fat cottage cheese
- 1 envelope (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix or homemade version
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Add the cottage cheese, ranch seasoning and sour cream to a food processor.
- Pulse until fully blended and smooth. I used 20 second intervals for a total of 1 minute and 20 seconds.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Food safety: It's not recommended to leave the dip at room temperature for more than 2 hours. On hot days, this time should be reduced to ensure food safety.
- Texture tip: For an ultra smooth dip, blend longer. For a thicker dip, pulse a few times.
- Optional add-ins: Dill, chives, garlic powder, lemon juice, hot sauce, red pepper flakes.
- Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. I wouldn't recommend freezing the dip due to the dairy.
