This dairy-free peppermint mocha frappuccino will sure put a smile on your face this holiday season. It taste just as delightful as the coffee shops but less than half the cost.

Cheers to the holiday season! You know what that means…..all the fun, festive drinks come out. This dairy-free peppermint mocha frappuccino is sure to put a pep in your step during those cold December days. I love a good mocha frappuccino but loathe the cost at the coffee shop. This one comes together easy peasy at home with half the price tag. Take it with you on the go or sip it at home by the cozy fire. Also, I love that I can add my own garnishes such as my EnjoyLife dairy-free chocolate chips and Yum Earth’s dairy free crushed candy canes.

    What is a mocha frappuccino?

A mocha frappuccino is a coffee drink that is made with cold brew coffee combined with cocoa powder and milk of choice. It is blended with ice and typically topped with whipped cream.

    Ingredients you need

    • Cold brew coffee (I prefer Califa brand when I’m not making my own)
    • Almond milk
    • Cocoa powder
    • Peppermint Extract
    • Almond Extract
    • Ice
    • Maple Syrup (optional)

    How to make

    • Combine all ingredients except ice in blender. You want to make sure you have a smooth consistency.
    • Add in the ice and pulse on medium. Make sure ice is fully broken up and combined with ingredients. The mixture will be fully liquid.
    • Pour into cup. Then, top with coconut/almond whipped cream, crushed candy canes and dairy-free chocolate chips (if desired).
    • Enjoy the wonderful taste of the season. Sip by the fire, enjoy while shopping or treat your friends at a holiday party.

    Food processor or Blender

I highly recommend a good high powered blender. A food processor can’t crush ice up the way blender can for you. I also think it is easier to pour from a blender than a food processor. Less messy.

I hope you enjoy this festive drink like I do this time of year! Leave a comment if you try and let me know how your enjoying yours.
