- 1 package of kielbasa sausage, sliced into thick rounds
- 4-5 medium size Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cups green beans
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp packet Mama's Place Onion Soup Mix
- 1-1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning - Slap Ya Mama
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup water or chicken broth (optional)
Instructions
- Spray crockpot with cooking spray or use a liner.
- Add in the potatoes and onions then layer in the kielbasa and green beans.
- Sprinkle in the onion soup mix, Cajun seasoning and garlic powder, top with the stick of butter. You can choose to add in water or chicken broth to create more of a swampy broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3 1/2-4 hours, until the potatoes are fork tender and everything is coated in buttery broth.
- Stir, adjust seasonings to taste then serve!
