Creamy Paleo Vanilla Honey Ice Cream

Description

This creamy paleo vanilla honey ice cream will rock your world. Enjoy this treat guilt free on a hot summers day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans full fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp arrowroot powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Blend + Freeze Method

  1. Place a freezer safe container in the freezer for 1 hour prior to use.
  2. Add the coconut milk, honey, arrowroot powder, vanilla extract and salt to blender. Pulse until you reach a smooth liquid consistency.
  3. Pour into cold freezer safe container and let sit in the freezer for up to 4 hours.
  4. Take out of freezer every 30 minutes and stir contents, then place back in freezer.
  5. When ready to serve, sit container on the counter for 10 minutes to soften up before serving.

Ice Cream Maker

  1. Place ice cream canister in freezer 1 hour prior to making the ice cream.
  2. Add the coconut milk, honey, arrowroot powder, vanilla extract and salt to blender. Pulse until you reach a smooth liquid consistency.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the ice cream canister.
  4. Follow the instructions on your ice cream maker.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a freezer container and let freeze up to 4 hours.
  6. When ready to serve, sit container on the counter for 10 minutes to soften up before serving.

Notes

  • When pulsing in the blender, make sure to blend well any coconut cream that may form on the surface.
  • For best practice, the freezer container should be in the freezer no less than 1 hour prior to using. You want to make sure your container is nice and frozen for the mixture to go in.
